The Horse is a boutique film production studio based in Canberra Australia. Irreverent, fun, sometimes dark, sometimes light, we aim to tell stories that challenge and entertain; that are uniquely Australian but with an eye to global markets.

Our first feature SNATCHERS had it's world premiere at the UK's preeminent Independent Film Festival, RAINDANCE garnering a nomination for a DISCOVERY AWARD FOR DEBUT FEATURE. Australian premieres followed with Sydney Underground Film Fest and the Capital Film Fest championing it in their lineups before screening in select cinemas across the country and broadcast on 9. It's currently available in the Australian region via digital channels for home rentals and is soon to be available worldwide.

We also take our unique approach to storytelling to craft video content for organisations throughout the ACT and beyond. With a particular interest in the arts and non-profit sectors (where budgets are quite often stretched too thin), we aim to provide unique, high quality video content at a reasonable cost to ensure that all can share their stories to a wider audience.
